Join the Family Resource Center of Sheboygan County for our first annual Corporate Spelling Bee Fundraiser! The Bee will be held at Blue Harbor Resort on Thursday, April 18, 2024. A networking hour begins at 5 PM, dinner is served at 6 PM, and our Bee will begin at 6:30 PM.
Teams will consist of two spellers and an alternate and will compete in a SCRIPPS-style bee. Several rounds of spelling will take place, with increasing degrees of difficulty, until one team is left standing. Don’t miss out on your chance to be crowned the first-ever FRC Corporate Spelling Bee Champion!
This event, which will be held annually, will have a unique theme each year. This year’s theme is “Buzzworthy Books,” and spelling teams may dress as their favorite book characters – a trophy for “Best Costumes” will be given out!
Your involvement in the Corporate Spelling Bee supports our FRC programming and helps us raise awareness about the importance of literacy, education, and family supports in our community. Through your generous contributions, our two programs – Literacy Council and Parents as Teachers – provide individuals and families with the educational programming and resources they need and supports a connected and thriving community.
