Greenbush Cemetery Tour
WHAT: Tour the cemetery grounds and learn about the lives of some of Greenbush’s most
notable residents on a two-hour tour of Greenbush Cemetery. Beyond the centuries-old, hand-
stacked stone walls, visitors will hear about the people who lived and worked in this early
Wisconsin community and are now buried in its historic cemetery. Many of these individuals
are mentioned during tours of the historic Wade House. Guests will visit the final gravesites of
Wade House founders Sylvanus and Betsy Wade, as well as residents Henry Dockstader, Charles
Robinson, Dr. Robert Morrah and Charles Adam Corbett, among others. The tour will explore
how these individuals came to settle in Greenbush, built their businesses and shaped the
community, along with some of their connections to the Civil War. After the tour, guests will
travel down the road to enjoy pie and apple cider at the Wade House Stagecoach Inn.
